a two week period.

Its time for our cPanel clients to get a new tool to play with!
We’ve just added a link to ‘Old Script Finder’ from within cPanel. This handy little tool searches your account for out of date scripts, allowing you to keep an eye on your upgrades.
Running out of date scripts can severely impact the security of your website, even the most security-tightened servers cannot help against poor application coding.
We have also added more tutorials, including How to change your DNS Nameservers, Setting up Private Nameservers and Using RVSiteBuilder Pro.

Plesk Auto-Installer Added

We have just released Installatron on our Plesk servers. This is a very powerful auto-installer, very much like Fantastico.
This will allow our Plesk clients to install hundreds of popular scripts with just a few clicks, including b2evolution, Coppermine, CubeCart, Drupal, Joomla, MediaWiki, osCommerce, PHP-Nuke, PHPbb, Wordpress and many many more.
To use Installatron, simply login to Plesk, click on the ‘Installatron’ button and follow the steps.

Does Server location really matter?

In short, yes it does.
There are many reasons why you should carefully choose the location of your server or host. The main reason being speed.
There’s no doubt that the closer to the server you are geographically, the faster it will serve files and web pages.
The other advantage of choosing a host in the same country as your visitors is search engine rankings.
Google and other search engines take note of the IP address that your site is hosted on and ranks it accordingly.
For example, a website on a UK IP address will rank better on google.co.uk than an American IP address would.
